What are your fees?

The fee for financial planning typically ranges from $250 to $2,500. The amount of the fee is driven by your specific financial planning needs. The annual fee for investment management of up to $1million is 1% of the assets we manage on your behalf. It is billed quarterly, in arrears.

The fee for financial planning typically ranges from $250 to $2,500. The amount of the fee is driven by your specific financial planning needs. Do you need college education planning? Do you need us to help you determine a reasonable target date for retirement, what that retirement looks like, how much savings is required to live the lifestyle of your choosing and how these savings should be invested? Do you need us to review your life insurance and other insurances to make sure that you're adequately covered? We work with you to determine the best course of action.

Fees for estate planning or business transition planning can range from $2,000 to $10,000 depending on the complexity.

The annual fee for investment management of up to $1million is 1% of the assets we manage on your behalf. It is billed quarterly, in arrears. For example, at the end of each quarter, we bill 0.25% against your account balance as of the close of the last day of the quarter. On amounts between $1 million and $3 million, the annual fee is reduced to 0.80%. On amounts between $3million and $5 million, the annual fee is 0.60% and on amounts greater than $5 million, the annual fee is 0.50%. We bill your account directly so that your rate of return is always net of our fee.

In addition to the investment management fee, there is a one-time fee ranging from $50 - $500 for opening the account, transferring assets from an outside custodian into the new account, designing the portfolio, and implementing the portfolio design.
